Tears of Transformation
I let the weight sink in,
Like waves, it crashes, cold and true.
The sadness wraps its heavy chains,
I don't resist—I lean into it,
I let the flood consume.
Tears streak my cheeks like colours,
Running wild, no longer held back,
Each drop a truth I've buried deep,
A whisper I forgot to heed.
Now they fall, I let them go.
I close my eyes and feel it all,
The ache, the pull, the silent pain.
In every sob, a piece of me
Is stripped, and yet, I'm set free.
And when the storm begins to wane,
I rise from where I wept, renewed.
The darkness fades, the colours change,
I'm stronger for the tears I shed.
I stand, my head held high once more,
A phoenix born from what I mourned.
Though sadness came and left its mark,
I’ve kindled hope within the dark.
Now I am whole, though once undone,
My spirit bright beneath the sun.
I leaned into the depths of sorrow,
To rise reborn, fierce for tomorrow.
